Aloe elegans   Todaro (1882)    

DESCRIPTION: solitary, stemless, leaves 16-20, 60x15-18 cm, 25 mm thick. teeth 4 mm long, 15-22 mm apart. Inf. 1 m with 8 branches, racemes conical, flowers yellow.
Synonymy: Aloe aethiopica (Schweinf.) A.Berger,Aloe peacockii A.Berger, Aloe schweinfurthii Hook, Aloe vera var. aethiopica Schweinf.
DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopia
CULTIVATION: not common. Very attractive and easy cultivated in sandy, porous and mineral soil. Easy to grow.
